Featured above is President Dwight Eisenhower with Marion Thomas Harbaugh during his visit to the Thomas Bros. Country Store on May 28th, 1960.  When President Eisenhower's golf game was rained out, he decided to visit the Country Store that his wife had spoken so much about.  During his visit, President Eisenhower spent $7.13 purchasing a jar of apple butter, a crock of apple butter, dried corn, a can of plums, and a Pyrex measuring cup.   His golf partner, chairman of the board of Coca-Cola, purchased a PA Dutch table cloth and napkins for Mamie Eisenhower.

President Eisenhower spent about an hour in the store.
