The Confederates Return to Town!

Join the 5th Texas Company F for a weekend camp site reenactment September 25-27.
During the Gettysburg Campaign, General Rodes’ Confederate division marched through Biglerville (then known as Middletown) after camping near the town on the night of June 30.
Saturday will be filled with soldier demonstrations, crafts (including church pew dolls which children can make and take home), camping, rifle and period dress displays.
The National Apple Museum will also be open for tours on Saturday, September 26 from 10am to 4pm with a patriotic quilt display, demonstrations, history talks, and baked goods for sale.
