SUMMARY:America 250 Patriot Rededication Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy live period music\, inspiring patriotic words\, delicious local food\, and fascinating history! \n\nThe public is cordially invited to join us at Benders Lutheran Church (1385 Rentzel Rd.\, Biglerville) to rededicate a Daughters of the American Revolution monument honoring 22 local men who fought in the American Revolution.\n\nA reception will follow celebrating America 250\, the Biglerville Historical and Preservation Society’s 30th anniversary\, and Benders Evangelical Lutheran Church’s 245th anniversary. Pastor Ryan will offer a recreation of a 1781 church service directly following the reception. Descendants of these patriots are invited to be honored as well.\n\nPatriots to be honored: ADAM BENDER\, JACOB MEALS\, WILLIAM BENDER\, JOHN HENRY MIHL\, JOHANN SAMUEL DIETRICK\, WILLIAM PETER\, ULRICH DOTERY\, JOHN REIF\, HENRICH EICHOLTZ\, FREIDRICH REX\, DANIEL\, SR. EYSTER\, GEORGE REX\, GEORGE JACOB GARDNER\, WILLIAM SCHNER\,\n\nKASPER GILBERT\, BERNHARDT WIRTH\, JACOB GILBERT\, GEORGE HARTZEL\, GEORGE DIETRICH\, JOHAN NICKLAS\nHUBER\, GEORGE DIETRICH\, NICHOLAS MAURER\n\nBesides honoring descendants of these 22 patriots who helped the cause of the American Revolution\, we will enjoy an uplifting community event bringing us together to celebrate Adams County residents who made great sacrifices to give us the freedoms we enjoy today.
